Reservation:
All reservations should be booked directly through the Resort or Sales Office in Delhi in written form through Fax, e-mail, etc.
Reservations are subject to room availability & the resort reserves the right of admission.
Prepayment of Reservations:
The hotel requires FULL prepayment of reservations directly to the Resort or Sales Office in Delhi by either in Cash, Draft/ cheque which should be in favour of “Kanatal Resorts & Spa Pvt. Ltd.” & received at least 30 days prior to the arrival date. In case reservation is made in a period lesser than 30 days, payment is to be done in full by cash or credit card.
Check In – Check Out:
Standard Check In and Check Out time is 14.00 Hrs & 12.00 Hrs respectively, however an early check in or late check out depends on room availability.
Security, Health & Facilities:
As the resort is located at a high altitude and at remote location, we try to take maximum care of our guests but do not guarantee or responsible for Security, Health & failure of any facilities/ infrastructure related directly or indirectly to the resort and its guests in situations beyond our control. Compensation / refunds in such situation is on sole discretion of the management of Kanatal Resorts & Spa.
Alcoholic drinks
Bringing personal liquor / alcoholic drinks and or consumption is strictly prohibited inside the resort premises as per hotel policy & directions of Department of Excise – Uttarakhand.
Payments at Resort:
Extras are chargeable on departure at the resort. The hotel accepts major credit cards but in case of breakdown of telephone lines guests have to keep arrangements for payment in cash.
Children
Child till the age of 5 yrs sharing bed with parents are on complimentary basis. Child in this age group are entitled for complimentary food as per booked package.
Child between the age of 05 years till 12 years sharing bed with parents are on complimentary basis however package food is chargeable @ Rs 750/- per child per day.
Child meal above 12 years are chargeable at Rs. 1500/- per child per day & extra bed chargeable at Rs. 600/- per bed per night
General T&C
• No outside food, beverages & liquors are allowed in resort premises.
• Indoor hot water pool, steam & sauna bath (for adults only above age the age of 14yrs)
• Extra Bed Rs. 600/- per bed/per night. One extra bed/ mattress can be accommodated in one room.
• Spa - Spa Treatment: Spa (Menu price + 12.5 % service tax) .
• Any other activity/ facility excluding the package chargeable as per actual at the resort.
• Maid/ Driver's accommodation & meals chargeable at Rs. 400/- per day per person, no part facility of this package is available.
• Drivers & domestic employees are not allowed in restaurants & other public areas of the resort.
Guest ID Proof
For security reasons & instructions as per Uttarakhand Government its mandatory for all guests to carry & present one of the ID’s (i.e. Driving License, Election Commission Card, Passport) at Front Desk during check in formalities. In case of Foreign Nationals, presenting Passport on arrival is mandatory.
Rates & Taxes
Rates & Government Taxes are subject to change without prior notice.
Governing Law & Jurisdiction:
The conditions are governed by the laws in force in India and you agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.
CANCELLATION POLICY
If you cancel the reservation =
Within/less than 15 days of arrival there will be 100% cancellation charges i.e. the value of entire room/s booking or full package price of rooms together with the applicable government taxes will be charged.
REFUND POLICY
If a booking is cancelled before 16 days and within 60 days of arrival, there will be no retention charges for cancellation i.e. full room tariff will be refunded.
